10 Months

Vivian is growing so fast. She is already 10 months old!

She has a lot of fun with bath time. She likes to try and collect all her toys in her hands and now uses her mouth.

She doesn't usually like me to read to her at bedtime since she is too tired. Here is one where she is having fun. It didn't last long though.

Vivian is crawling all over now. She is fast and can get into trouble pretty quickly. She really likes to play with the dog bowls. Sammy's is always empty so she uses it as a drum. Dooley doesn't always eat his right away so she tries to take it out of the bowl. She doesn't give up easily.

We have most of the sockets covered now. Haha.

Vivian and I went on our first bike ride last weekend. It took us a while to get her helmet on, but she had fun once I started going. She left it alone as long as I was going fast enough. When I went too slow she tried to take her helmet off.

Lindsey had a good first mother's day. Her and Mimsie went and got a nice pedicure. Vivian and I met them afterward to drink some wine and cheese at the Fearrrington farm.

Mimsie brought one of Lindsey's old dresses for Vivian to wear. It looked really cute.

Vivian seemed to like the kiddie/dog pool. The weather is heating up!

Sammy tried to get in with Vivian a couple of times.

OMG Vivian is 9 Months old!

David Hasselhoff can't believe Vivian is 9 month's old. It is Hoffsome! and Vivian is crawling!

We went to the park and Vivian got to swing for the first time. it was hard to keep a hat or sunglasses on her. We will have to work on that.

We had a nice picnic too.

Lindsey was back in action with her first triathlon since Vivian was born. She did really well!

Vivian thinks she is a model.

Her eyes looked so blue with her new bicycle dress on.

Lindsey ran the Rock 'n Roll half marathon and Vivian wore a 'Mommy Rocks' onsie. It must have helped because Lindsey got a PR (personal record) 1:47 (and it was hot and really hilly).

Next, we went to Boston for the marathon. Vivian did really well on the plane. I was a bit nervous for my biggest race.

Davis, Lissa, and Liam came as well. We got to hang out and let Vivian and Liam play in the hotel.

Liam was crawling circles around Vivian, she thought he was cool.

Stripped Granny and Vivian.

The weather was nice, a little windy, but we got to enjoy the gardens with Mimsie and Granny.

The crowds were crazy and it was like no race I have ever run. I ran as best I could, but cramps got the best of me at mile 23 and had to walk some. I didn't run my goal of under 3 hr, but got a decent 3:07 for my first Boston. It was a tough course mostly because of the downhills and the warm sun. I am so glad Lindsey and Vivian did so much to get everyone there to support me, it means so much to me that everyone was excited for me at Boston.  It was really hard to move around and see much with all the crowds. Maybe it will be easier in the future, if I ever qualify again...

Vivian at 8 Months

It's been a while since our last update. Vivian has grown so much and is still happy as ever. She is trying to crawl now. She can get on her hands and knees and rock back and forth. Yesterday Lindsey saw her army crawl to try to get towards Sammy.

She sits up without support and is always smiling.

Vivian is a Chemistry baby! She likes her Chemistry onsie.

She was 8 months on March 4, and is very busy. It took us a while to get a good one, but she wasn't looking at the camera. She moves around so much now.

Vivian makes a lot of faces. She smiles most of the time, but not all the time...

We were in Wilmington for the half marathon and got to see everyone for brunch after the race. Vivian got to sit in a high chair for the first time at a restaurant and hang out with Liam. He really wanted her sippy cup, and she liked his toy cell phone.

Recently, we have been teaching Vivian to clap. She has been really interested and happy about the "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" song. Finally, yesterday she was clapping on her own. She also was standing with her walker all by herself. She is growing so fast.
